Tire Technician

American Staffing is seeking a Tire Technician to join a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. This full-time, long-term position is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, mechanical skills, and a great team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair flat tires efficiently and safely
• Mount and dismount tires on various vehicles
• Diagnose tire issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Perform tire balance and rotation evaluations
• Advise customers on proper tire selection based on vehicle type and driving habits
• Identify signs of uneven tire wear that may indicate mechanical issues (e.g., alignment problems)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Physical capability to lift/move 40 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with tire servicing preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
