Product Design Engineer III

Visin general :

Product development will primarily involve bathroom fittings for Americas / EMENA. He or she will work with the Monterrey plant and our external suppliers to generate new ideas for new and existing product lines, or support the plant for process optimization to improve production efficiency. The engineer will responsible for creating the 3D and 2D CAD drawing for new designs, and work closely with the NPD, Manufacturing, Quality and Sourcing teams to address any design relative issues during a project implementation. This person also will support product improvement activities through ECN process and cost improvement activities.

Responsabilidades :

This individual primary will be responsible for NPD from concept to engineering detail for final product specifications. Require extensive cross-functional and cross-site coordination (including international).

Extensive design experience in CAD software, PTC Creo.

Strong teamwork, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Great attention to detail and precision, strong observation and analysis skills.

Proven experience on manufacturing processes such brass casting, machining, die casting and assembly procedures.

Fundamental awareness of codes and standards on fitting industry

Intermediate English (written and oral).

General knowledge about material properties and applications.
