We also offer respite care to families, so their primary caregivers can take a break or address more pressing matters.
Currently, we are looking for a PRN- NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP) for to provide Hospice Care (primarily, for face-to-face recertification) for RANDALL, POTTER COUNTIES & SWISHER COUNTIES. The pay is $100 per re-cert face-to-face visit, NOT per hour.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Travel is required – Randall and Potter counties (and, Swisher county, if needed).
- Hearing, eyesight (must be able to read 12 point and larger type) and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a Physicals assessment of the client's condition and to perform and demonstrate patient care.
- The ability to access patients' homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible is required.
- The abilitv to communicate well, both verballv and in writing' is required.
- On occasion, may be required to bend, stoop, each and move client weight up to 50 pounds; lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds.
- A patient visit is completed upon submitting the visitation clinical documentation by the NP within 24 - 48 hours of conducting the specific patient visit.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must be a Nurse Practitioner actively licensed in the state of Texas.
2. Must have at least one year of experience in hospice care.
3. Must have CPR and BLS active.
4. Must have a valid Driver's license.

Masks and proper PPE protocol is always followed. Gloves, sanitizers are being utilized in the highest qualitative manner.
