American States Utility Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our water and wastewater systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on water and wastewater infrastructure, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Respond to service requests from customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their needs.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Develop skills and knowledge in interpreting technical documents, manuals, and system maps.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; state-required training permits within 90 days if applicable.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain commercial driver's permit within six months.
- Federal OSHA, US Army Corps of Engineers, and/or State Mandated Safety training required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with ability to interact with public in a professional manner.
