Industrial Custodian & Housekeeping-Day Shift

Schedule :

• Days (Monday through Thursday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00 pm and Friday 8 : 00am-12 : 00pm)

A typical day in our housekeeping department at Zanesville Mil includes properly disposing of debris and trash within the various departments and facility grounds. Often, the housekeeping associate will do a walk-through with a department supervisor to get an idea of the precise needs, expectations, or any additional clean-up instructions they require in their departments. In this role, a housekeeping associate should expect to work in a noisy and dusty manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Sweeping, mopping, trash and recycling collection, dusting, restrooms, and common areas inside and outside the facility.

Physical requirements :

Standing, stooping, walking for up to 8-10 hours, and crawling under the mezzanine when necessary. Required to use scoop shovel and broom frequently throughout a shift. Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience or Job Qualifications :

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with deadlines

Adaptability-Ability to adapt to change in the workplace

Understand how to work in and around industrial machinery safely
