American Structurepoint is looking for summer interns in our Road Engineering Group. The internship would be located in our Indianapolis, IN Design Center.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities in our Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, Traffic)

• Contribute to roadway design through completing design calculations, roadway layouts, drainage calculations, plan production, and quantity and cost estimate takeoffs.
• 3D modeling and work with Microstation/Geopak, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. 
• Different projects of all sizes could include, Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads, drainage improvements and Large Interstate Improvements

Qualifications

• Student majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Transportation, Hydraulics, or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering
• Reliable transportation to and from office location
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things and to collaborate with a team
