Position: Staff Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH
We are looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Civil Site Group in our Columbus, OH office. Our ideal candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is looking for experience on exciting projects and wants to find a place to grow a career. This person will be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This Staff Engineer will be expected to work with a Project Manager and other staff, to drive the design on a variety of Civil/Site Development projects. In this position you will need to be able to think quickly on your feet and be an exceptional problem solver.
Responsibilities
- Design site layouts
- Perform grading and drainage design
- Permitting of commercial and residential site development projects
- Road and utility design
- Hydrologic/hydraulic analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related degree
- 2 years of experience in site development, grading and drainage design, or hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written & verbally, at all levels of the organization
