Overview
The specialty operator is responsible for operating production equipment in accordance to the standard operating procedure.
Summary Of Position
- Startup Specialty equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Interpret operation of the Specialty area on the computer.
- Maintains work station as to cleanliness and order
- Samples products, perform physicochemical analyses and records information of finish product and notifies foreman of out of spec material.
- Performs work in a manner that complies with all safety practices and sanitation standards
- Performs other duties as directed by the foreman
- Operates all equipment in a manner to maintain a high flow rate and high quality Production, in a safe manner
- Able to perform work procedures SSO 1 thru SSO30 as described in the work procedure index
- Pack finished product into various packing types and sizes as well as palletizing
- Warehousing of finished product into racks after shrink wrapping
- Type of training or experience required, and at a minimum time to gain it
- Be able and willing to work a rotating schedule of 8 or 12 hours
- Be able to wear all required P.P.E. and follow all G.M.P. Guidelines
- Be proficient in the proper and safe operation of a Forklift truck
- Must be able to make analysis and decisions involving judgment
- Lifting requirements are 1-10lbs constantly, 10-20lbs frequently, and 20-50lbs occasionally
