OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for all aspects of planning, scheduling and forecasting the maintenance functions. The Planner may also supervise maintenance employees and may cover weekend supervision for the department.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for coordinating daily, weekly and monthly scheduling of maintenance plans.
- Execute the planned preventative maintenance schedule.
- Analyzes maintenance repair specifications to determine tools, parts, and human resource requirements.
- Responsible for ordering parts according to lead times.
- Monitors parts inventory levels to achieve necessary levels.
- Updates SAP systems with preventative maintenance data.
- Communicates between maintenance and production teams.
- Monitor effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program to minimize plant breakdowns.
- Maintain good labor relations and team morale.
- Ensure personnel follow all GMP and safety policies.
WORK EXPERIENCES
- 3plus years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing facility or equivalent military experience required.
- Scheduling, planning, or similar inventory and PM program required.
- Experience operating SAP systems preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is required with Electrical knowledge preferred
- Intermediate or better skills in Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, ability to be proactive and self-directed.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Industrial food processing experience preferred
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required. BS/BA degree in a related field from an accredited college/university preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- No direct reports, but coverage supervision may be required
LOCATION OF ROLE

SALARY PAY RANGE:$62,500 - $115,000 plus bonus
The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on the candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
