American Mobile Home Supply has been in the mobile home parts supply industry for over 20 years. We offer simple, affordable solutions for everyone, including large businesses or the individual homeowner. We distribute both wholesale and retail. If it is made for a mobile home we can get it and more. Just a few of the products we offer include (but are not limited to): Furnaces, A-coils, Condensing units, replacement parts, faucets, bathtubs, plumbing fittings, tub surrounds, mobile home doors, storm doors, windows, electrical supplies, set up materials, mobile home skirting and so much more. We have 7 locations to serve the North Carolina marketplace, as well as convenient, fast online ordering.
We supply parts and equipment as well as advice to:
- HVAC contractors
- Plumbing contractors
- Independent contractors
- Mobile Home parks
- Door and Window companies
- Individual homeowners
SUMMARY: Responsible for providing effective Sales & Customer Service to all customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of products, procedures, and policies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Learn the skills necessary to offer top-notch service with our mobile home products and HVAC components.
- Inform customers of product availability, unit prices, delivery dates, anticipated delays and any additional information needed for customer inquiries.
- Provide customer service as required to all showroom and telephone customers
- Process orders as required to meet/exceed sales, margins and profitability quota, up-selling and cross-selling to customers
- Answer incoming calls and assists customers
- Handle and resolve customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of workspace and showroom
- Gather required information from customer for warranty claims
- Participate in daily physical inventory counts
- Operate within Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with American Supply Policies and Handbook.
- Other duties and responsibilities as necessary for the business or as requested by Management
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment, however when assisting customers or moving parts/equipment may be exposed to fluctuating temperatures (extreme heat/cold).
STANDARD HOURS: 40 per week, during regular business hours, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Mon-Fri., and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in retail sales.
- Wholesale/retail sales experience preferred.
- Stable, solid work history.
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Adherence to safety procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple to moderately difficult instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, i.e. giving change back to customers
- Computer/Internet proficiency.
