Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth operations at the front of the house. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Assist guests with inquiries and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Handle guest relations with a focus on hospitality, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
• Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for efficient order processing and tracking.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with food service operations is beneficial.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A passion for helping others and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
