The Business Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office and assisting in the administrative functions of the company as well as independently providing accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping support to clients.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • 2 years of QuickBooks experience required (unless in college).
  • Can be flexible with schedule for a candidate in school. Requires a 3.5GPA and reference from previous or current professor.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, provide information to callers.
  • Organize and schedule appointments.
  • Provide information to clients.
  • Independently prepare, review, and finalize Business Client records & financial statements and/or payroll.
  • Other duties as assigned

The agreed upon schedule can be flexible, so long as majority of the hours worked are during office hours to assist our business clients. We are a small business and unfortunately do not have the ability currently to offer large benefits like other organizations, but we do our best to make up for that as we can!
