Salary : $66,560.00 - $77,000.00 a year / DOE
Job Summary : This position is responsible for, but not limited to, assisting the Customer Service Manager in managing the customer service effort of Medico Healthcare Linen Service.
Primary responsibilities include assisting Managers in problem solving, addressing areas of opportunities, and continuous Customer Service Training. Training is a key result area for success. Other duties may include leading project initiatives which may include offering new product and services promotions, methods development, assuring effective customer service and assist in the overall management of the division. Relaying information with Service Personnel regarding adjustments necessary in the maintenance of PAR Levels to ensure customers are being adequately serviced. Works directly with Account Managers and Production Manager, and under the supervision of the Service Group Leader, commonly known as the Director of Customer Service. May also work under the direct supervision of the Corporate VP of Operations.
Work Performed : Include the following (Other duties may be assigned)
- Understand the products, processes and capabilities of Medico in order to adequately represent Medico to existing customers and prospective customers.
- Understand billing (Pound Pricing, targeted yield per pound, per piece priced items, Inventory controlled items, Automatic Replacements and processing fees) and overall cost per adjusted patient day.
- Look for opportunities within existing business to increase total yield per pound as well as additional offerings such as paper goods, disposables, direct sales and any other such items which will hit our overall bottom line directly.
- Responsible behavior (you are a direct reflection of the company).
- Maintain good grooming habits. Clean shaven, or neat facial hair, maintain a professional appearance at all times when representing the company.
- Work well with others.
- Maintain a good driving record.
- Must be able to problem solve issues that may exist at accounts.
- Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, provide usage analysis, financial audits, adjust par levels through-out assigned accounts in an effort to reduce misuse, abuse and loss.

Education : Associate degree preferred. Work experience may be substituted for formal education.
Experience : Must have a good driving record with at least 1-year driving experience.
Understand the proper intended utilization of all items offered, and be familiar with all items to make determinations regarding customer needs and usage properly.
Training Period : 90 calendar business days from the hire date.

The immediate work environment of the Healthcare Account Manager is in a Hospital environment. The plant environment is indoors, humid, hot in summer, cool in winter, noisy and wet in some areas, dirt, dust, lint and odors in soil areas as well as potential exposure to blood borne pathogens.
Outside environment are typical Hospital settings with structured parking lots and high-rise medical buildings. Elevator use very typical as are stairs. Other environments include individual buildings and offices of various sizes and locations.
