Area Manager - Medico Riverside

Medico Healthcare Linen Service is seeking an Area Manager to directly manage our customer-facing Service team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading teams, and a solid customer service background, to include face to face interactions and service-oriented business relationships. Responsibilities include leading and coaching team members; managing the overall performance of a team 4-5 routes; providing leadership by fostering a safe working environment; successful resolution of customer-related issues; maintaining customer contract renewals; training a team on effective sales techniques; performing goodwill of customers at the customer site while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

·         Achieving sales, profit, inventory and payroll goals.

·         Managing a budget and dealing with operational issues that affect service.

·         Hands-on support of direct reports includes accompanying our service representatives or visiting customers alone, when necessary, to assist in the pick-up and delivery of products or services

·         Performing managerial duties

·         Engages and collaborates with other departments

·         Handle customer inquiries and complaints

·         Knowledge and ability to provide information about the products and services

·         Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns.

Education:

• An associate’s degree is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred in Business Administration or Communication.

Skills:

• 5 years of active driving experience
• Excel and other Microsoft products
• Up to 5 years of Management experience
• Experience in industrial sales or customer service
• Excellent business writing skills

·         Excellent presentation and documentation skills

Physical:

·         Lifting, carrying, and walking Medico Healthcare Linen Service products in and out of customer accounts up to 75lbs
