Job Summary
Inside Sales Representatives work closely with the Outside Sales Team, the Sales & Marketing Data Analyst, and the Inbound Sales Team to identify and generate quotes for sales opportunities. They follow up on open quotes, prospect for new sales opportunities, process sales orders, and partner with Outside Sales Team members to field customer inquiries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with Outside Sales, the Sales & Marketing Data Analyst, and customers to identify quoting opportunities and requirements.
- Gather information from external customers to process sales orders and create and submit orders.
- Monitor and track orders through the manufacturing process and communicate necessary schedule information to external customers.
- Create Field Test Unit (FTU) orders, monitor FTU status, and follow up to complete the FTU process.
- Collaborate with Outside Sales to determine best solutions for individual opportunities.
- Provide backup to the Sales Operations Specialist in processing the FCC protocol for assigning wireless system frequency.
- Work with Outside Sales to create a back-up system for following up with customers when Outside Sales is unavailable.
- Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements with Outside Sales and Sales Management.
- Provide ongoing service to established accounts.
- Report market and competitive information, conditions, and news.
- Develop relationships with contractors to improve success in competitive bidding situations.
- Evaluate partnerships and recommend new contractors as needed.
Requirements:

- Knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques, and customer service.

- Efficient computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP, and CRM.
