We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Consultant to join our team at American Time. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the Outside Sales Team, as well as other departments, to identify and generate quotes for sales opportunities.
As an Inside Sales Representative, your primary focus will be on quote generation, follow-up on open quotes, prospecting for new sales opportunities, processing sales orders, and partnering with Outside Sales Team members to field customer inquiries. You will also be an integral part of the Sales Team, providing valuable insight on selling strategies and tactics based on your continual exposure to sales opportunities, customers, and competitive forces in the market.

You will also be an integral part of the Sales Team, providing valuable insight on selling strategies and tactics based on your continual exposure to sales opportunities, customers, and competitive forces in the market.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working with Outside Sales, the Sales & Marketing Data Analyst, and customers to identify quoting opportunities and requirements.
- Gathering information from external customers as needed to process sales orders and create and submit orders for processing.
- Monitoring and tracking orders through the manufacturing process and communicating necessary schedule and other pertinent information to external customers.
- Creating Field Test Unit (FTU) orders, monitoring and tracking FTU status, and following up as necessary to complete the FTU process.
- Collaborating and strategizing with the Outside Sales Team to determine best solutions for individual opportunities.
- Providing backup to the Sales Operations Specialist in processing and maintaining the FCC protocol for assigning wireless system frequency.
- Working with Outside Sales to create a back-up system to ensure follow-up with customers is executed when Outside Sales is unavailable.
- Working with Outside Sales and Sales Management to negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
- Providing ongoing service to established accounts.
- Reporting market and competitive information, conditions, and news.
- Developing working relationships with contractors to improve the likelihood of success in competitive bidding situations.
- Evaluating strength of partnerships, recommending new contractors as needed.
- Meeting budgeted sales goal/quota for assigned region.
- Increasing sales and growing profitability by finding and developing new customers, as well as expanding new technology choices within our current customer base.
- Maintaining customer records using automated ERP and CRM systems.

- Able and discipline to follow all company policies, including safety policies and procedures.
