What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Service Technician position at American Trade Services?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are in search of Mobile Service Technicians with the desire to maintain and enhance the appearance and performance of office buildings in the area. Desired candidates are highly motivated, innovated, skilled, disciplined, charismatic, have a can-do attitude and maintain an extremely professional mannerism even in the most challenging situations.
Mobile Service Technicians are responsible for responding to customer requests in a variety of fields such as carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, general cleaning, etc.
Part-time, full time and on-call positions available looking for people with the desired skills and a flexible schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Work Orders: Prioritizes and completes work orders. Examples include but are not limited to relocating signs, pressure washing, change out lights and ballasts, installing blinds, painting, replacing faucets, changing A/C filters, etc.
· Tenant Improvement and construction: Assist with construction projects. Some examples are demo, flooring, millwork install, painting, ceiling tile install, managing vendors, ensuring space is kept clean and safe, enforcing building rules and regulations. Updates managers on timelines and schedules, make suggestions for RFI and change orders, meets with contractors and subcontractors, aids in reviewing blue print drawings when asked by construction coordinators and property managers. Relays updates of any interruption to business practices.
· Preventive Maintenance Guidelines: Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for building on time and in detail, notes repairs and deficiencies and makes the team aware of issues using maintenance protocols and procedures.
· Pride of quality and appearance: Must take pride in their quality of work and integrity. Pride of ownership must be in the forefront of their mind. Building Service Technicians must portray a high level of professionalism at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3 - 5 years of building preventative maintenance, routine maintenance and safety experience
High school graduate and vocational courses or on the job experience.
DMV printout, valid driver’s license, the ability to be insured and use of your personal vehicle
Solid communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with tenants and employees within different departments of the organization.
Basic set of hand tools pertaining to the job description.
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical ability and familiarity with at least one certificate in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pumps.
Salary : $20 - $40
