Summary of Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Land Surveying Intern to support our real estate team at American Transmission Company, a Great Place to Work.
Key Responsibilities:
You will use your CAD mapping and legal description interpretation skills to prepare transmission line ROW CAD mapping files and supply the mapped data to our GIS group for inclusion in our systems.
The tasks involved include reading and interpreting easement legal descriptions and mapping them within a CAD platform (MicroStation).
You will apply these skills in reviewing, organizing, and completing partial existing ROW CAD mapping files from past requests.
The mapped data you prepare will support numerous functional groups within ATC, including the Engineering and Vegetation Management teams.
