About the Job:
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting as a Physical Therapy Assistant. You will be responsible for assisting physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing treatment plans, and promoting patient independence and mobility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in conducting evaluations, assessments, and interventions to develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as prescribed by physical therapists
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on various topics related to physical therapy
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current professional license as required by the state
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
