About the Role:
The Radiology Technologist position involves taking diagnostic images using MRIs, ultrasounds, and x-rays, as well as preparing patients for procedures and ensuring their comfort and clarity throughout the process. You will work under the supervision of a physician and have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, health centers, and medical labs.
Responsibilities:
- Take diagnostic images using MRIs, ultrasounds, and x-rays
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and clarity throughout the process
- Work under the supervision of a physician
- Contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of patients
Requirements:
- 1 year of recent experience in radiology
- Valid professional license or registration if required by the state
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required
- Valid ARRT or ARDMS Credentials per discipline
