As a Computed Tomography Imaging Technologist with American Traveler, you will have the opportunity to work in a rewarding and challenging environment. You will be responsible for operating CT equipment to create diagnostic images of the interior parts of the human body.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them accurately, as instructed by physicians.
- Operate CT equipment to create diagnostic images of the interior parts of the human body.
- Maintain CT equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
- Assist physicians in reading images and analyzing patient conditions.
Requirements:
- 1 year of recent experience in this setting.
- Valid professional license or registration if required by this state.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
- Valid ARRT or ARDMS Credentials per your discipline.
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required.
- Professional References.
