Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Imaging Technologist to join our team at a Magnet hospital in Winfield, Illinois. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to create diagnostic images of the interior parts of the human body.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to create diagnostic images of the interior parts of the human body
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them accurately, as instructed by the physician
- Maintain CT equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Help physicians read images of patients and analyze their condition
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 1 year of recent experience in this setting
- Valid professional license or registration if required by this state
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required
- Valid ARRT or ARDMS Credentials per your discipline
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required
