Job Summary
We're currently seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery nurse to join our team in Galion, Ohio. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, from expecting mothers to newborns, and contribute to the success of our healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
As an L&D nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications to patients
- Monitoring fetal heart rates and assisting with labor induction
- Working closely with physicians to design infant delivery plans
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- 1 year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery and the required setting
- Valid nursing license as required by this state
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required
