American Traveler is seeking a skilled Emergency Room RN (Urgent Care & Trauma Support) to join our team at a Magnet hospital in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' injuries or conditions upon arrival
- Implement treatment plans, explain prescription information, administer IVs, medications, and injections, and conduct EKGs and other triage elements
- Understand hospital discharge policies, as well as government policies on treating, transferring, and discharging patients from the hospital
- Educate patients and their families about home treatment when being discharged from the ER
Requirements:
- 1 year of recent experience in this specialty and setting
- Valid nursing license as required by this state
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA (recommended and may be required)
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required
