*Job Overview*
We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team in a Diesel Repair Shop. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within the shop environment.
*Duties*
- Support the techs as needed
- Operate skidsteer to move materials/vehicles within the shop and lot
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in and around the shop area
- Run errands for the shop as needed (mileage reimbursement)
- Assist in tasks as directed by supervisors
*Requirements*
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with tools and equipment used in a repair shop setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a shop setting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Motivated, self- starter doing things around the shop
- Entry level position, with the ability to learn from our techs or office staff to advance
- Reliable vehicle to run errands

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
