Summary/Objective
The Machine Operator A position is a valuable part of the production team, ensuring production quotas are met in a timely manner while observing the highest standards of safety and quality.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Set Up & Operates automated or semi-automated equipment may include: STCOS, RECB, MRB/SRM, and Chiyoda.
- Verify information on work order to ensure set up of automated equipment correctly.
- Ensure all safety rules are being followed while loading tube in to equipment.
- Read work order to verify you are using the correct gauge and or tooling.
- Check parts to blueprint to make sure they meet customer requirements.
- Make labels to identify correct part number.
- Visually inspect parts for damage.
- Work with team to meet quotas and goals and keeping area clean.
- Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care.
- Transferring components within department utilizing tubs, pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).

Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma.
- CNC or Automatic Machine experience preferred.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to the airborne particles and/or oils and lubricants used in Production processes at American Tubing International. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand and required to lift up to 35 lbs. The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or crawl.
