Job Summary: Builds and troubleshoots electrical components and systems in manufacturing and in support of engineering. The position will include mounting electronic panels and boxes in equipment. Extremely neat wiring of equipment required along with reading and understanding schematics and wire diagrams. CAD and high voltage experience a must. Works under general supervision.

Essential Duties:
- . Read, understand, troubleshoot and update electrical schematics and wire diagrams.
- Understand wiring process and identify errors. Accuracy and neat wiring practices required.
- Ability to follow complex wiring instructions and diagrams.
- Diagnose, test or analyze the performance of components, assemblies or systems.
- Install electrical control systems, automation systems or electrical equipment, including control circuits, variable speed drives or programmable logic controllers.
- Ability to use electronic instruments.
- . Works with engineers to identify, procure, and assemble parts and materials. Reviews engineering parts lists and assemblies for appropriateness of specified materials and parts.
- . Complies with defined quality standards using appropriate manufacturing practices and methods.
- . Ability to work effectively as a team or independently with minimal oversight.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- AS degree in Electrical Technology and four (3) years relevant wiring experience or high school graduate and five (5) years related wiring experience. PLC knowledge a plus.
- Competence and experience in the use of hand tools and test equipment.
- Competence and experience in wiring switches, control circuits, variable speed drives, and programmable logic controllers.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- . Ability to lift 50 lbs.
