technical GIS developer to configure and develop custom Esri ArcGIS Enterprise applications, including JavaScript API, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Portal/Online/Hub, and Field Maps. Applications are deployed within SharePoint and integrated with .NET-based applications, Oracle/SQL Server databases, and enterprise reporting tools (OBIEE, Power BI).
The role involves developing and maintaining GIS applications, conducting testing, providing end-user support, and working closely with IT teams. The position is based in Georgia, with a preference for candidates who can follow a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customized web, mobile, and enterprise GIS applications
- Develop GIS web services and geoprocessing tools
- Maintain and upgrade existing GIS applications
- Conduct performance and quality assurance testing
- Provide end-user support and create documentation
Required Skills:
- 4 years of GIS programming/application development experience
- Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, Python (ArcPy)
- Experience with ArcGIS Server services and geoprocessing services
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal, Experience Builder, and Arcade
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript frameworks (Dojo, Angular, etc.)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills (Highly Desired):
- Esri JavaScript API (ability to develop widgets)
- Geodatabase Administration in a multi-user environment
- ArcGIS Pro add-in development
- Experience with ArcGIS Apps (Field Maps, Navigator, Survey 123, etc.)
- Esri certification (GISP, Enterprise, etc.)
Work Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour workdays (between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM ET start time)
- Work Model: Hybrid (Preference for local candidates who can work onsite as needed)
- Contract Duration: Until June 30, 2025, with potential renewal
