Systems Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux engineering, Kubernetes management, and automation through scripting. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and quickly addressing priority tickets.
The Select Group seeks a skilled and proactive Systems Engineer to join our client’s dynamic support team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Linux system engineering and administration, with proven expertise in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. This role demands exceptional communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning in areas such as cloud computing, automation, and Kubernetes. The position is based on-site in Littleton, CO, with a work schedule of 6 AM–4 PM, Sunday through Wednesday (Sunday is remote).
Systems Engineer Qualifications:
- Overall IT experience ranging from 2- 5 years.
- Proven experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting. (2-4 years)
- Familiarity with cloud environments and associated technologies.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
- Basic understanding or exposure to Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
