Job Description:

GA DOL is seeking a skilled Quality Analyst with strong experience in testing Java applications and working with Postgres/DB2 databases on IBM/DELL mainframe systems. This is a highly technical role involving analysis, documentation, and execution of complex testing scenarios.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and develop test plans, scenarios, and cases.
• Test Java applications on distributed platforms.
• Execute test program changes, verify results, and ensure correctness.
• Work with DB2/Postgres databases and run complex queries.
• Use JIRA for test case tracking and defect management.
• Prepare documentation for both program-level and user-level.
• Collaborate with teams to meet tight deadlines.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of testing Java programs
• Experience with DB2 and Postgres
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and integration testing
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Hands-on experience with JIRA

Good to Have:

• Java programming knowledge
• AWS hands-on experience
• Kofax experience
