Description:

• We are seeking WorkDay Sr Architect/Senior Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the core Finance technology driving Client.

• You will champion automation of functional and technical processes/platforms and bring your expertise to drive innovative design & solutions.

General Responsibilities:

• Work with Tech Lead and product owners to understand desired WorkDay Finance module, application capabilities, and testing scenarios
• Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating Finance value propositions and strategies to meet the needs of the business
• Design and deliver solutions in the Workday platform with “modules for extensions”, “Prism”, “Extend” & “Integrations” across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments, and Suppliers through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
• Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, and collaborate with Finance partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
• Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday Technology & Platform updates, fixes and capabilities
• Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation & maintenance
• Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
• Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree & at least 9 years’ experience in WorkDay FINS architecture and platform engineering on Finance platforms (Prior Peoplesoft experience is a plus)
• At least 7 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
• At least 7 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
• 9 years of experience working with the Workday platform with “modules for extensions”, “Prism”, “Extend” & “Integrations” across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments, and Suppliers
• 5 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Prism, Extend, Workday Studio, Custom Reports, or RaaS solutions
• 7 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
• Workday Integration Developer certifications
• 4 years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
• 5 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
• 5 years of experience in Agile practices
