Job Description:
Perform calibrations of MTE in the following disciplines: Pressure, Dimensional, Electrical, Mass, Force, & Weighing Devices, Mechanical, Thermodynamic and Time & Frequency. Maintain laboratory equipment including minor repairs and adjustments as necessary. Maintain electronic and written records of completed assignments. Must be professional, reliable and have relevant work experience and references.
Position Objectives:
- Perform calibrations accurately, timely and independently.
- Maintain N.I.S.T. traceability for all devices that are critical to the operation of
the calibration laboratory.
- Complete documentation accurately to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Record calibration records both electronically and hard copy.
- Familiarity with Fluke Met/Team software a PLUS
Requirements:
- 3 years of recent experience in a ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 or PMEL Laboratory for experienced tech; 1 year of related job experience for junior tech
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is a must.
- The ability to build, store, recall and maintain spreadsheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Good vision, math skills and sharp eye-hand coordination
- Ability to analyze and interpret data.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
