About the Position:
The Process Safety Manager is a key member of the AMVAC team, responsible for developing and implementing Process Safety Management programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role requires a strong understanding of process safety management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing Process Safety Management programs, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, employee training, and process improvement.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement Process Safety Management programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance
- Provide training and guidance to employees on process safety management procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and provide guidance to employees on how to apply this knowledge in their daily work
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and effective communication
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and work with cross-functional teams to implement these changes
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and prevent future incidents
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Process Safety Management program that includes hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of AMVAC's business objectives and priorities, and align Process Safety Management initiatives with these goals
