Safety Management Professional

About the Job:

The Process Safety Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of AMVAC's manufacturing plant and surrounding sites.

This role requires a strong understanding of process safety management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including plant management, EHS, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Process Safety Management programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance
• Provide training and guidance to employees on process safety management procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and provide guidance to employees on how to apply this knowledge in their daily work
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and effective communication
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and work with cross-functional teams to implement these changes
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and prevent future incidents
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Process Safety Management program that includes hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of AMVAC's business objectives and priorities, and align Process Safety Management initiatives with these goals
• Provide leadership and direction to Process Safety Management team members, and collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals
