Under the direction of the physician, the Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant employs professional standards of care in compliance with state statutes. The NP / PA will provide quality of care to all our patients while overseeing, executing, managing and caring for our patients during their appointment.
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Responsibilities :
Provides direct patient care services for vascular patients and assists the team where needed for a successful flow of daily operations.
The NP / PA performs physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies, completes professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, coordinates the care and discharge of the patients, performs vein procedures, assists with procedures and provides direct patient care services. The NP / PA contributes to excellence in patient care, teaching and educating the patient, staff and provides leadership to the organization.
