American Village Corp. has an opportunity for a Maintenance technician to join our experienced team.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified maintenance technician to assist American Village Corp. in the day-to-day maintenance of our properties.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative, but not exclusive of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Current Driver’s license
- Clean Driving Record
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner; both verbally and in writing.
- Must be ambitious and willing to take initiative
- Experience with Drywall, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Ability to be on call for emergency maintenance.
Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Represent American Village Corp. and our assets in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Work in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws (Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Laws, OSHA, etc).
- Purchase goods/services/supplies as directed by American Village Corp.
- Other duties as assigned by the Home Office.
