What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immigration Attorney position at American Visa Law Group, PC?
We are currently seeking to hire a supervising immigration attorney. 1 to 4 years of immigration law experience is the range of experience suitable for this position with experience supervising legal staff highly preferred as well as employment-based immigration experience. The most important skills for the position would be communication skills, a high degree of being detail-oriented, and a strong aptitude for leadership and teamwork. The position requires the candidate to be licensed to practice law in any state, though a California license is preferred and a JD from an ABA accredited law school. Being bilingual is not a requirement, however it is preferred.
Job duties will include assigning and reviewing casework of subordinate legal staff, managing client relations and expectations, and a moderate caseload as needed. Our firm does not micro-manage, and we provide the staff the opportunity to interact directly with a wide array of clients, from corporations seeking to sponsor skilled professionals, to individual investors, and people seeking to bring their relatives to the US.
Pay raises are given on an annual basis and we also offer excellent benefits including a health insurance stipend, 401(k), two seasonal bonuses, PTO (12 days per year), paid holidays (9 days per year), and work from home benefits.
