Residential Construction Estimator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Residential Construction Estimator to join our remediation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for residential construction projects. Must be able to handle multiple daily appointments. You will work closely with project managers, and clients to ensure budgets align with project scope and requirements. Monday-Friday and some Saturdays will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person site visits to analyze spaces, gather measurements, and create accurate sketches for project planning and estimation.
• Identify material, labor, and equipment costs for residential construction projects.
• Communicate estimates effectively with clients and address any questions or concerns.
• Provide recommendations and cost-saving alternatives to meet client needs and budgets.
• Actively assist in converting estimates into contracts by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns.
• Walk customers through company procedures, project timelines, and expectations to build trust and ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications:

• Some experience in residential construction is preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a bonus but not required.
• Experience in Xactimate would be a bonus, but not required/

Location: Halethorpe, MD

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
