As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home we protect critical aspects of home function such as plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surges, hot water heater, and interior electrical. Outside the home we provide protection for critical lines (water, gas, wells, sewers, electric and septic). We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water / gas / electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water / gas / electric bill itself. Position Summary
As a Senior Manager, Digital Engineering, this role will be crucial in overseeing the successful delivery of digital initiatives within the organization. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the seamless integration of various business processes, systems, and technologies to optimize efficiency, enhance agility, and drive innovation across the enterprise. By leading a team of developers and specialists and collaborating closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, this role will help define eCommerce strategies, manage project execution, and deliver solutions that meet business requirements and objectives.
This position is based in our Chicagoland office in Naperville, IL. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (T-TH in office and M & F remote) presence is required. Business needs may also require in office time and M & F when needed.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To :
- Lead and inspire the digital engineering team, engage with the business and identify new functionality, develop compelling business cases, prioritize projects, and develop plans that maximize return on investment for the company.
- Develop and lead a collaborative and Agile software development approach delivering high velocity, with ROI in quarters while maintaining a strong focus on solution configurability, quality, and scalability.
- Identify emerging technology trends, especially in SaaS solutions, cloud computing, automation and DevOps and ensure the company is leveraging them when appropriate to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive value.
- Be an execution leader driving business outcome with a combination of in-house team and outsourced services, both onshore and offshore.
- Be a thought leader and define solutions for the Digital team.
- Collaborate with the Product and Business teams to deliver customer journeys on our eCommerce platforms supported by our digital teams.
- Represent digital team and collaborate with other IT teams for resource planning, project planning, prioritization activities.
- Provide Technical and Quality governance of deliverables from the team.
- Define and maintain best practices and framework related to digital in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture.
- Foster a culture of transparency and a sense of purpose among the team, challenging old paradigms while creating clear accountabilities and performance metrics

We offer a compelling total rewards package that includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits to support your total wellbeing. The base pay range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
