Work Schedule
7:30 AM-3:30 PM
Monday - Friday with on call rotation
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for Meter Reading, Meter Installations, and Meter Changeouts
- Responsible for investigating meter reading inaccuracies, customer complaints, and checking for leaks.
- Responsible for shutting customers off for nonpay and reconnecting when paid
- Responsible for stocking van/truck with required materials for the day’s work
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment along with having the right tools to do the job
- Computer Work
- AMR program and LOS
- Hydrant flushing
Experience/Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Work Environment
- Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- Lifting 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as spiral notebooks.
- Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
