What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, SENSE position at American Welding Society Inc?
Job purpose
This position will actively service new and current SENSE clients through processing applications and customer service.
Duties and responsibilities/essential function
Provide support to new and current SENSE schools, including students, instructors, and administrators, via phone calls, emails, and web requests, zoom meetings
- Provide Technical & SENSE System Support
- Support and schedule Zoom meetings for new SENSE registration onboarding
- Process SENSE Levels I and II school registrations
- Process SENSE Level I and Level II Enrollment Requests
- Process SENSE Level II graduation requests
- Keep client’s records up-to-date
- Keep clients informed of program changes and updates
Print, sort, and prepare school and student certificates for mailing
- Provide support for the Education & Training Department, as necessary
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/competencies
Required Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent
- Have previous customer service experience
- Ability to be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and self-motivated
- Ability to be professional and have a positive attitude
- Ability to follow written and established procedures
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills using email and telephone communications
- Possess excellent working computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook) and perform data entry with speed and accuracy
- Possess a strong commitment to learning and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as necessary
- Ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgement
Preferred Qualifications include:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Working experience in a non-profit organization
- LMS System (such as Moodle, Though Industries) experience
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience
Being multi-lingual
Working conditions
Must be able to utilize office equipment such as desktop/notebook computers, copiers, printers, scanners, telephones, and calculators;
- Must be able to work occasional overtime;
- Must be able to learn company standards and ensure applicants meet minimum requirements
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical requirements
- The ability to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear.
- The ability to frequently sit and reach with hands and arms.
- The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
