Delivery Driver/Warehouse

American Wholesalers, Inc. is looking to hire a day shift local delivery driver and warehouse worker to expand our growing team in Paducah, KY. This position would be expected to retrieve and load vinyl siding products and windows into customers' vehicles, assist with retrieving material and loading delivery trucks for salesmen and our delivery drivers, perform inventory-related tasks, and willing to step up and learn any other warehouse related tasks assigned to them.

Our hours are Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm, however overtime may be mandated or available based on business needs.

Required Skills and Qualities:

· Must be punctual

· Must have good attendance

· Must have good attitude, treat co workers and customers with respect at all times

· Must have ability to lift 70 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly

· Must have ability to work on feet for entire 8 hour shift (with the exception of designated break and lunch times)

· Must have ability to use full range of hand and body motions including standing, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, squeezing, and lifting above your head

· Must have ability to work in various weather elements. This is not a temperature-controlled environment so the summer months are hot. During the winter months, you will be exposed to the cold, rain, and snow as you will often be working near open dock doors and also loading product outdoors

· Must conduct yourself with honesty and integrity in all situations

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Desired Skills and Qualities:

· Driver's License is required.

· Some basic knowledge of construction materials, windows, vinyl siding, exterior products is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
