The Accounting Associate is an integral part of our Accounting team that works with clients on all billing and collections related items. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate is a self-motivator, team player, and has a willingness to learn. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate that is interested in the Accounting field.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage QuickBooks Online with a strong understanding of invoicing and accounts receivable
- Interact with other team members and customers via email and phone to ensure all invoices are accurate and collected on time
- Manage invoicing and ensure accurate billing, as well as handling subcontractor billing forms and related documentation
- Oversee accounts receivable processes
- Conduct collections calls and send follow-up emails as needed
- Perform general accounting and bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with various general administrative duties and provide support for office phone coverage as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- Familiarity working with online tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Quick Books Online, and Adobe
- Responsive and friendly customer service
- Effective organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
