2nd Shift Production Operator - Paper
American Wood Fibers (AWF) is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products that are sold to multiple manufacturers as well as pet, agricultural, and home-heating markets. AWF is comprised of 450 employees and holds operations at 11 locations, generating over $100M in annual sales revenue. We are currently seeking a candidate for the 2nd Shift Production Operator - Paper role in our Lebanon, KY facility.
JOB SUMMARY
The Production Employee is responsible for working in a safe, efficient manner to maximize production and shipping of products and raw material.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
I. PRODUCTION
- Operate a machine with good hand-eye coordination at a fast pace to make rate
- Sweep and shovel excess material around the packaging equipment and warehouse during the end of the shift clean up
- Perform outside duties, including sweeping and picking up debris
II. SAFETY
- Exercise caution in the production area due to mobile equipment moving the finished product out of the production area
- Attend monthly safety meetings
- Attend safety trainings as needed and complete required testing with sufficient results
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Ability to lift 20-40 lbs.
- Physical capability to bend, squat, or stoop
EXPERIENCE
Industrial Machine Operating: 1 Year (Preferred)
COMPENSATION
Starting: $17.05 per hour
