What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Packaging Team Member 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday position at American Woods?
At American Woods we offer employees great working hours. We start at 6:00 am and our day ends at 2:30 pm. We work Monday through Friday.
This position preps our larger furniture items, such as dressers, cabinets, etc. for delivery to our customers. It consists of moving the furniture with a dolly to a workstation, applying foam and cardboard to the product, and shrink wrapping it. Utilizing the dolly, the furniture is then loaded on to a semi for transportation. This department is also cross trained into packaging other items for shipping, making drawer boxes and cutting cardboard.
Our starting wage for this position is $ 18.00-$20 per hour depending on previous relatable experience.
