Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Senior Estimator specializing in millwork. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for commercial millwork projects, reviewing project plans and specifications, and collaborating with the CEO, President, Senior Vice President, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids. The role involves analyzing labor, materials, and subcontractor costs, as well as maintaining relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Experience in cost estimation, project planning, and quantity takeoffs
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the millwork or construction industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
