Ameri-CARE Birmingham is seeking a compassionate and organized Weekend Scheduler/ PRN Caregiver to join our team!
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled caregiver to provide top-notch care to our caregivers and clients Saturday 7am- Monday 7am, this role will involve managing our caregivers schedule, delegating call-out's and pick-ups, being readily available to pick-up a shift when needed, and being responsive through our employee care team chat line. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering phenomenal care to our clients and employees.
Responsibilities
-Keeping track of caregivers weekend schedule.
-Being responsive to our employees through our Care-Team messaging system day & night.
-Ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing gaps in care.
-Delegating call-out and finding replacements.
-Picking up shifts when not able to find coverage.
-Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients and family members.
-Maintain accurate records and reports.
When picking up a shift, responsibilities include...
-Provide personal care and support to clients, including: Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting.
-Assist clients with Mobility, Transfers, and Exercise.
-Prepare & serve meals/snacks
-Provide medication reminders & assistance
-Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
Requirements
-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- 2 Years of Care-giving experience.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Excellent communication and organization skills.
-Experience with caregiver management and scheduling software.
-Reliable transportation and valid drivers license/auto insurance.
-Ability to work Saturday 7am- Monday 7am
-Must be readily responsive and available.
