Home care aides will provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The clinical staff will work alongside you to ensure our patients are getting the care they deserve. You will be provided a plan of care that will outline all tasks requested by the patient and discussed and approved by the Registered Nurse.
Top Responsibilities of our Home Care Aides include:
- Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) including meal prep, light housekeeping, and range of motion exercises
- Collaborating with the care team for any patient needs
- Communicating with the office staff on schedule changes and any patient issues
- Keeping up to date with all mandated requirements including CPR, in-service training, valid driver’s license
- Basic computer knowledge; our electronic medical system is AloraPlus - if you our unsure of this program, we will teach you. It’s super user friendly!
