Your Role as a Dietary Manager
We are looking for a dedicated Dietary Manager to join our team and oversee foodservice operations within our community. This role ensures compliance with policies and regulations while providing nutritious meals in a safe environment.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise foodservice staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and company policies.
- Plan and oversee meal preparation based on dietitian-approved menus.
- Maintain budgets, manage inventory, and order necessary supplies.
- Work collaboratively with community departments to ensure resident-centered care.
- Uphold high sanitation and food safety standards.
- Participate in resident care planning and coordinate with Registered Dietitians.
- Provide professional communication with inspectors and regulatory agencies.
- Standing, sitting, walking, and changing positions frequently.
- Lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs.; pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to reach, balance, kneel, stoop, and bend.
- Follow safety policies, including the use of carts for moving items.
- Wear skid-resistant, supportive shoes to prevent slips and falls.
- Utilize protective hand equipment when handling knives, sharp objects, and hot surfaces.
- Mandatory reporting of work-related injuries within 12 hours.
- Participation in company drug testing procedures.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Preferred experience in quantity food production in a healthcare setting.
- Serve Safe Certification or equivalent preferred (or obtained shortly after employment).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
