We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver in the Weatherford area who is available to work with our clients in Parker County and surrounding areas.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with mobility, including support with walking, transfers, and helping them move safely around their home or environment.
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and feeding, ensuring the client’s dietary needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to ensure a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to improve emotional and physical well-being.
- Help with transportation needs for appointments, errands, or social engagements.
- Monitor changes in the client’s health or behavior and report any concerns.
- Must accurately record details about care provided, including daily charting and updates on the client’s condition.
- Ensure the client’s environment is safe, clean, and conducive to their comfort and health.
Caregiver Requirements:
- 2 yrs previous experience in caregiving or a related field
- CNA Certificate a plus
- CPR Certification
- Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions, client tasks and care plans.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform tasks such as lifting or transferring clients.
- Current valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing
- Flexibility in work schedule, plus some weekends.
